SATA:
It is an
interface for data transfer between the motherboard and some storage devices,
as can be the hard disk, readers and regrabadores CD / DVD / BR, Drives Solid
State or other devices of high performance are still being developed.
PATA:
It is an
interface standard for connecting devices massive data storage and optical
drives using derivative ATA and ATAPI standard standard.
