DDR
Modules are
composed of synchronous memories (SDRAM), available in encapsulated DIMM, which
allows data transfer for two different channels simultaneously in the same
clock cycle.
DDR2
The DDR2 memories have higher latencies than those achieved
with conventional DDR, which harmed their performance. Reduce latency in DDR2
is not easy.
DDR3
These
modules can transfer data at a rate of 800-1600 MHz Effective Clock, compared
to the current range of DDR 2 533-800 MHz or 200-400 MHz DDR.
